Dragons! Everyone loves dragons!!
Excited about the prospect of a new realm opened for our exploration, CTV did what we do best: travel the world, meet lots of new and exciting NPCs, and kill them.
First, we ran into Tirranun, who teased us in Lavastorm and then fled when it was clear who was going to come out on top. Not deterred by his flight, we tracked him down and polished him off.
Second, we confronted Rikkukin in his perch. After a brief trek up his mountain (apologies to our aerobically challenged ogres) we quickly ended his reign of terror.

As Rikkukin breathed his last, he called for his mate, Kessadona. Say what you will about the Clan, but we're not cruel people. Not wanting Kessadona to suffer from the loss of her beloved, we felt it kindest to put her out of her misery. She had a few tricks up her scales, but it wasn't long before she joined her hubby in the hereafter.

Once Kessadona was gone, the Chief in Lavastorm warned us of another peril - the dreaded Lady of Storms herself, Yar Lir. Not a bunch to back down from a challenge, we charged into Yar Lir's lair in the Thundercrest Isles. After a fun, but somewhat brief, fight, the lizard with delusions of grandeur was sleeping with the fishes.

Hurts so good - the Anguish of progression
With all these dragons to kill, you might think that we wouldn't have time for Anguish, but you'd be sorely wrong! Since our last little chat, we've knocked off everyone in that zone except the big guy himself, Mata Muram - and last time we peeked in at him, I could have sworn that I saw him filling out life insurance forms. We killed Keldovan the Harrier and Ture, we rescued Jelvan, we sent Warden Hanvar screaming from the Asylum (last we heard he had given up EQ and was set to star in "Lockup 2" with Sylvester Stallone) and we turfed out the over confident Arch Magus Vangl.

Epics Rolling in
Even though we've been busy killing many nasty furry creatures with big fangs, that hasn't stopped us from helping our guildmates complete their Epic 2.0s! Every Anguish clear brings us 3 more Globes of Discordant Energy, so we're knocking off about 3 Epics a week. To date, we've completed the quest for Warriors, Paladins, a Beastlord, a Monk, Clerics, a Druid, Mages, Wizards, and a Shadowknight.
Congratulations!

Cheating doesn't pay
A few may have noticed an anomaly with a screenshot submitted in our last update. It turns out the submitter was using some kind of 3rd party program - MarcoQuest. Suffice it to say this person is no longer associated with Clan Ta'Veren. Folks, don't waste your time and ours; if you need to use cheat programs, this is not the place for you. On the bright side, we found out before we had an awesome run of dagger drops, resulting in even our newest app rogue getting a crystal/aneuk dagger combo.
