Coirnav the
Avatar of Water finally got his watery grave
tonight. The last time we went after Coirnav we ended
up losing at a disappointing 6% with over a minute
to spare. So, we decided, enough was enough. On about
our 7th try, we finally managed to finish him off.
This encounter is just frustrating beyond belief when
after spending 6+ hours camping his spawn a slipup
of seconds can cost you the entire fight. The camp
time we put in just to get an attempt was reminiscent
of Emperor Ssraeshza...and the victory was just as
sweet. Everyone was on top of their game today, and
we're now one step from the Plane of Time. Congrats
guys, you earned this kill.
The loot was two
of these shoulderpads. Grats to Skrabian and Bearon.

We also managed to
catch the loot pinata that is Fennin Ro
up during our time zone a few times recently. Nine
times, actually. He's given up two sets of Plate legs
for us now. I don't have shots of all the bodies but,
lots of masks, lots of earrings, and not enough ifir's.
On the way of course we cleared out everything in
fire, which is probably more news-worthy than fennin
himself at this point.

Xegony
has died four times since the last update, despite
the changes made to some pathing around her. As exciting
as that first kill of her was, the event gets old
pretty fast. The point of it could have been made
in half the time. Our fastest kill so far has been
somewhere around 48 minutes - requiring clerics to
endure that is just a cruel joke.
On to Earth B. We've
had keys to this zone for months, and never touched
it. We always had higher priorities. With Coirnav's
death near though, everyone would need the earthB
key soon enough. After the patches we had a few weeks
back when servers were going up and down, we decided
to finish those keys. The Mystical Arbitor of Earth
died 3 times in about a week. Everyone was so sick
of the plane of earth it wasn't even funny. What comes
after the keys though? More earth! We ran through
the first 3 mini's in earth B and spawned Warlord
Gintolaken and promptly died. We res'd up,
and died again. And again. Then, the next day, we
came back with less people and owned him nearly flawless.
Three days later we spawned him, and died. Then died,
and finally beat him again. What's the moral to all
my rambling? Memblur is a retarded thing to give to
a mob like this. And what's the deal with his loot
table? Yet another way to farm silk arms? FANTASTIC!
Where do I sign up?
Anyhow - Some quotes.
