Our rotation in time
is four days long. Thats four days to clear as far as
we can. Before this time, we had spent the better part
of 4 days trying to kill Vallon Zek.
He's pretty much the gatekeeper to tier 5, and the hardest
god up to this point. We've probably died to him over
a dozen times. Anyway why am I telling you all this?
Because, CTV killed Vallon Zek not
once, but twice this rotation. In addition to that,
he didn't kill us once. The guild was performing exceptionally
well the last four days.
Now you might be thinking
-- twice? That's right. Our turn started on Sunday.
We cleared Phases 1, 2, and 3 extremely quickly and
found ourselves back in tier 4. The first target was
Tallon Zek...

Next up was his brother,
Vallon Zek. Like I said before, he's the only real "challenge"
for us in tier 4 anymore. Our first go at him ended
with his foot someplace other than our ass:

This fight has been one of the most
frustrating to figure out, but also one of the most
satisfying to win. With these two down, we were clear
to go to tier 5. Terris and Saryrn weren't up yet from
our last kills, so we'd have to kill them on Monday.
Finally, tier 5. The
final tier before Quarm. These are the real gods, not
the demi-gods we'd flattened in the last tier. Cazic-Thule,
Innoruuk, Rallos Zek,
and Bertoxxulous.

So, we've made it to
tier 5. What are we gonna do first? We decided on Cazic-Thule
as the first target. He was pulled and we died with
him around 75%. After res's were done we rebuffed and
pulled him again. Without a tree to put him in CT isn't
the same fight, but we managed to kill him anyway.

With CT down we tried
Bertoxxulous next. Our first try ended
with him about 54%. By this point it was pretty late
on Sunday night and we tried Rallos Zek
once to see what we'd need for the next day, then called
it a night
Monday evening came
and we blew through the tier 1 trials for the 1000th
time and were back in tier 4. Saryrn and Terris had
spawned, so we had to kill them before getting back
to tier 5. They fell over and gave us their loot, and
we were back in action.
Rallos Zek
was our target for tonight. Being a weeknight, and the
fact we had to clear tier 1 and then the 2 gimps in
tier 4 again, we didn't have too long before people
would need to log. Our first try of the night on Rallos
had him standing at 20%. The second time, we got him
to 17%. We res'd up and rebuffed, and went again. This
time we got Rallos to 0%. ZERO. His animations had stopped
and he was about to fall over dead. Again, we res'd
and rebuffed. Fourth time was similar, with us losing
around 20% yet again. Too late for anymore, we camped
at that point. He would have to die on Tuesday.
Tuesday marked the
launch of the Lost Dungeons of Norrath, and our instance
was erased with the patch. That meant we'd have to clear
tiers 1 through 4 tonight if we wanted to get back to
where we were. We'd have to move fast...It would be
hard...eh..

Tada. Back in tier
5. We completely blew through tier 4 yet again. The
teamwork and motivation was incredible. Great job guys.
Anyhow, it was late again
so we called it. Wednesday would be our final day in
time, and we wanted to make it count.
Wednesday came and
we were back in time. After getting through the first
phase in our sleep again, we pulled and killed Cazic-Thule.
We got a Timeless Robe Pattern off him also.

Next was Rallos Zek.
This fight is really cool, but frustrating after our
0% loss. Even the Warlord couldn't stop us though, as
we laid waste to him on our first attempt of the night.

We got a few shots
in on Bertoxxulous but couldn't pull off a win. We'll
be gunning for him and Innoruuk next time we hit Time,
and Quarm should be saying his prayers. Congrats to
everyone on the great display of teamwork you showed
during these four days. We destroyed almost everything
that stood in our way.
