Candidate Guidelines

We are always looking for outstanding players to join Clan Ta`Veren. We seek players that are dedicated, skilled, and most importantly enjoy playing the game at a high level.

  • Playtime - We are a raiding guild, and our prime-time for raiding starts at 5:00pm pst, and continues until around 10pm pst. If you are online during raids, you are expected to attend. Whenever the guild is not raiding, you will see the members working on various things to better themselves as well as the guild. Be it AA points, quests, exploration of new areas, or trade skills - our members play this game to be the best they can be. Applicants are expected to do the same.
  • Attitude - The most important thing we expect from our applicants is a positive and proactive attitude. We are looking for players that will make an impact in the guild -- highly motivated self starters who realize their enjoyment of the game is ultimately in their hands. We are looking for players who love their class and enjoy playing it in a raid environment. Also, at the level that we play, you will die. A lot. If you are not willing to beat the learning curve of new encounters, and stick to it until the challenge is defeated, this is not the guild for you.

If that describes you, your character is level 75 and you have a minimum of 750 AA and meet the following, then this might be the guild for you.

All characters must have Swift Journey 2, Mystical Attuning 5, ND3, Discordant Defiance 5, LR5 and ID5.

Priests must have RC9, QC3, SCM3, MGB, SCRM, AHG3, Mnemonic Retention and Subtlety3

Melee/Hybrids must have PE, RM5 and DI5.

Casters must have SCM3, FoM3, Mnemonic Retention and Subtlety 3 (Necro's are exempt from Subtlety 3).

Due to our current raid selections, the following flags/keys/faction are recommended:

  • Faction: Ally to Zhubis the Griffon Tamer
  • Faction: Ally to Jenray, Envoy of Ro
  • Faction: Ally to Wraithguard Leadership of Valdholm
  • ToB/Deathknell

Finally, all characters must meet the following requirements:

  • Permanent Worn Enduring Breath item or equivalent AA
  • Indoor Instant-Cast right click item(s)
  • Shrink Device (or other form of self-shrink)
  • Vanishing Device (or other form of self-invis)
  • Gate Potions (or other form of self-gate)

Recruitment Process
If you are interested in joining us, get to know some of our members in game and fill out the Online Application. Applications will be considered as they are received.

If your application is accepted, you will be notified and your trial period will begin. During this period you will be invited (and expected) to raid with us. We will be making efforts to periodically schedule raids that aren't as heavily restricted in flags or keys as our normal events. The purpose of this is to flag our applicants as well as to raid as much with you as possible. During this time your application will be posted to the Members Only area of our forums where guild members will make comments about your abilities and their experiences with you.

This trial period lasts typically 6 to 8 weeks, depending how much time we feel is needed to evaluate your potential to join the team.
